ITINERARY

Day 01: Hanoi arrival – Discovery

Arrive in Hanoi, welcomed and transferred to the city for exploring Hanoi capital, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Uncle’s House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. Welcomed Lunch at local restaurant then visit the Museum of Ethnography and Quan Thanh Temple. In the evening, take part in the water puppet show. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02 : Hanoi – Hoa Lu “Ha Long Bay on land ”- Lao Cai

Depart for a nice trip to Hoa Lu, one of the most famous sites for its rich and impressive limestone peaks. Visit two temples of Dinh and Le kings, dating from the 10th century. After lunch at local restaurant, a sampan ride takes you through the caves of Tam Coc “three lagoons”. Return to Hanoi in late afternoon. Have Dinner and transfer to Hanoi Railways Station for the night train to Lao Cai. Stay Overnight on train.

Day 03 : Lao Cai – Bac Ha typical market – Sapa

Arrive in the early morning at Lao Cai station. Meet our guide and transfer to local restaurant for breakfast. Then, depart to the Bac Ha market and you will attend a typical market, you meet here different ethnic minorities: flower H’mong, Dao, Pa Di…coming from two countries. Have lunch at local restaurant. Depart to Sapa, check in at hotel. Then, trek in the most beautiful valley of Sapa to the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home of Hmong, Dao, Zays … through terraced rice fields, ethnic villages and schools. Stay Overnight in Sapa.

Day 04 : Sapa – Tam Duong – Binh Lu – Sin Ho

Sapa to Tam Duong via charming but winding road of the highest pass in the North: Tram Ton. On the way you can admire the mountain ranges, green hills of tea trees and the ethnic villages of the Dao, the White Hmong, the Red Hmong, the Mang and the Kho Mu and Lu… Have some stops along the way to walk around the area to discover the daily life and occupations of different ethnic groups. Arrive in Sin Ho in late afternoon, check in and overnight in Sin Ho

Day 05: Trekking

Have Breakfast with local family. The whole day is for trekking through the ethnic villages in Sin Ho to meet different minorities: Dao, Hmong, Thai. Have Dinner and stay overnight at homestay.

Have Breakfast with local family. The whole day is for to trekking through the ethnic villages in Sin Ho. Have Dinner and overnight at local family.

Day 07: Trekking

Have Breakfast with local family. The whole day is for trekking through the ethnic villages in Sin Ho to meet varied minorities: Mon, Thais black, Khmu … Have Dinner and stay overnight at homestay.

Day 08: Trekking

Have Breakfast with local family. The whole day is for trekking through the ethnic villages in Sin Ho to meet different minorities : Dao, White Thai and Black Thai… Have Dinner and stay overnight at homestay.

Day 09: Trekking – Boat trips – Muong Lay

Have Breakfast with Thai family. The morning is devoted to trekking to meet the ethnic minorities of Dao, Thai. Have Lunch with the locals. Boat trips on the Black River and then our driver will picks you up and transfers to hotel. Have finner and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Muong Lay – Dien Bien Phu – Hanoi

Have Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Dien Bien Phu through the fabulous scenery. Visit the historic battlefield of Dien Bien Phu: A1 Hill, Dien Bien Phu museum, Muong Thanh Bridge and the basement of De Castries. Have Lunch at local restaurant. Next, you will be transferred to the airport of Dien Bien Phu for the flight to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to the hotel. Have Dinner and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Hanoi – Halong – Overnight on the junk

Have Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Ha Long and you will be there in the noon.
12h00 – 12h30 : Embark on the traditional wooden junk and followed by a short cruise briefing.
13h00 – 15h30 : Savor a delectable lunch as cruises among the limestone islands.
15h30 – 16h30 : Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area. Back to the junk
16h30 – 17h30 : Cruise to Soi Sim island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h30 : Cruise back to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set.
19h00 : Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around. Stay overnight on board.

Day 12: Ha Long – Hanoi – Hanoi – Departure

06h30 – 07h00 : Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
07h30 – 08h30 : Have breakfast at sunrise.
08h30 – 09h30 : Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30 : Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 – 10h30 : Continue your cruise to explore the Bay, pass Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
10h30 – 11h30 : While heading back to the harbor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00 – 12h30 : Disembark and transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Da Nang. On the way back, stop at the small village of pottery to see the stages of manufacture of ceramics. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for the departure.
